Beauty of Joseon uses the mildly acidic juice of Korean green plum (Prunus mume), rich in natural fruit acids and vitamins, to lift dead skin cells and morning sebum without disturbing the skin's own acid mantle, while mung bean saponins do the actual cleansing with a soft, fine foam. Heartleaf, green tea and rice extracts keep the wash calming, and the brand's four-week test on 51 sensitive-skin volunteers found it gentle and non-stripping.
